2009 Haiti Missions

Hello All,

It's time for the summer mission's trip which is in late July. There will be daily discipleship and ministers training, young men basketball camp, young women volleyball camp, teen group discussions, children's day camp in Gonaives and a one day activity camp in the mountain church at Dechaos. There will also be food distribution and if we can find a doctor, there will be a clinic. We will also distribute basic items consisting of toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, soap, wash towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Several teens from the US will be a part of the team. They will take leadership roles in the various activities. Each team member, including the teens, must raise all of their expenses for the trip which has increased from $1500 to around $2,000 due to higher airfares. In addition, all of the supplies including the in country beans and rice must be purchased as well. Your prayers are appreciated as well as your monetary support.
